Report of the February 1998 meeting of Vision-On Camcorder Club.

The club met as usual at 7.30pm.The members were split into 2 teams with the brief to produce an video in the form of an advertisement. Members had already been advised via the club newsletter that they were expected to bring lights camcorders tripods and props suitable for the purpose. All editing was to be done "in camera" and there was no opportunity for post production work of any kind. Both teams adopted entirely different techniques and consequently the finished results were of an entirely different nature.

All members who took part found the exercise to have been interesting and a challenge to their abilities. Some members even had to show their acting skills which must have been something of a culture shock. A similar exercise is planned for August when members have to produce a montage.
